Nepal shares open borders, with minimal policing, with India. Its strategic location - an underutilized asset - is now turning into a security hazard. Jamim Shah was no ordinary media entrepreneur. A Muslim of Indian Kashmiri origin, he was often accused of being a Pakistani agent by India. He was allegedly involved in a fake currency smuggling ring. Indian intelligence suspected him of being Dawood Ibrahim's man. Ibrahim, a notorious Indian gangster with ties to al-Qaida, was involved in the 1993 Mumbai bomb attacks which killed more than 200 and injured about 700 people. More here
